TUMMY TUCK. ABDOMINOPLASTY.
There are various degrees of a tummy tuck or abdominoplasty procedures and this determination is directly dependent upon the amount of loose skin, underlying fat, stretch marks, abdominal scars, and the laxity of your underlying abdominal muscles, otherwise known as a diastasis recti. For patients whose underlying abdominal muscles have minimal weakness and have a minimal amount of loose skin, a mini tummy tuck can be performed using an endoscopic abdominoplasty approach. In contrast, individuals with moderate to severe amounts of loose skin, stretch marks, and abdominal wall weakness will benefit from a full abdominoplasty.

MOMMY MAKEOVER
Due to the physical challenges and effects of pregnancy, the goal of a mommy makeover is to restore your body to your pre-pregnancy days, often times by combining a tummy tuck with cosmetic breast restoration surgery, including either a breast lift, breast augmentation, or breast reduction surgery.
Following pregnancy, many women develop mild to moderate laxity and weakness of their lower abdomen ("pooch") along with the development of stretch marks with loose and flabby skin. Furthermore, your breasts undergo fluctuations in size due to lactation-induced enlargement followed by deflation and atrophy, thus causing your breasts to fall and lose their overall shape and volume. LIPOSUCTION. BODY CONTOURING.
Liposuction or body contouring is a commonly performed procedure that permanently removes fat cells from various areas of your body when diet and exercise alone are not producing the desired results. For your personal safety, Dr. Thornton performs liposuction at an outpatient surgical facility using general anesthesia that is monitored by an separate anesthesia provider. We use a traditional tumescent liposuction technique called suction assisted liposuction (SAL). Realistically, the down time following liposuction is usually 1-2 weeks depeding upon the extensiveness of your liposuction procedure and the area(s) treated and post surgical garments are usually worn for several weeks.

 Lipotherme™ is an FDA-approved, minimally-invasive procedure that uses patented and state-of-the-art laser liposuction technology to remove unwanted fat from targeted body areas. ARM LIFT. BRACHIOPLASTY. THIGH LIFT.
Arm liposuction, brachioplasty, medial thigh lifts, and leg liposuction are procedures requested by patients who have experienced massive weight loss following successful bariatric surgery. For those patients with loose and flabby skin and fat of the upper arm, an excisional brachioplasty is the procedures of choice, as liposuction alone will not provide the best aesthetic result. However, patients who have minimal to moderate amounts of upper arm fat with good quality skin, are excellent candidates for standard liposuction brachioplasty. The same logic holds true with regard to the inner thigh region, as the amount of underlying fat and quality of your skin will ultimately determine the choice of surgery Dr. Thornton will suggest, being either medial thigh liposuction or a complete medial thigh lift procedure.

BRAZILIAN BUTT LIFT
A Brazilian butt lift is a special procedure offered by Dr. Michael Thornton, whereby your own body fat is harvested and collected during liposuction performed on your abdomen, flanks, back, and buttock regions. Following liposuction, your own fat is then carefully and artistically transfered back into your buttocks, thus providing you with a rounder and fuller figure with a narrowed waist line. The ideal candidate is a one who has a full waist line and hip region and and a flat bottom. One important key is that the client must have an adequate amount of fat to perform a good fat harvest, otherwise, there will not be enough fat to return to the buttock region during the transfer process.
