Torn Earlobe Repair

Serving clients near
Mansfield, Arlington, Ft Worth & Dallas, Texas

Mansfield Cosmetic Surgery Center performs torn earlobe repair, earlobe guage hole repair, earlobe plug hole repair, earlobe reduction, and otoplasty (ear pinning), which are procedures that change the shape and contour of your ears. Although cosmetic ear enhancement is more commonly performed on young children, an increasing number of adults are undergoing otoplasty to improve their overall facial symmetry and appearance, while others are simply requesting repair of torn earlobes, closure of earlobe guage holes, or removal of earlobe keloid scars.  In addition, clients undergoing a facelift procedure may request an earlobe reduction to improve the balance and symmetry of their face.

What can I expect during my consultation?

During your consultation, you will meet privately and exclusively with Dr. Michael Thornton where you will collectively share in the decision making process about your personal needs, desires, and expectations.  Although well qualified, we choose not use patient coordinators, nurse practitioners, or physicians assistants to perform your consultation.  Dr. Thornton will complete a thorough medical history and perform a careful examination of your ears.  Clients are welcome to email photos of your earlobe deformity so that we can provide a quote.

Where will my surgery take place?

Earlobe repair surgery is  performed in our office as an outpatient procedure with local anesthesia and can take approximately 20 – 60 minutes depending upon the complexity of your earlobe repair. Recovery is usually complete within 7 to 10 days and we will provide complimentary re-piercing of your ear after your healing process.
