Radiesse Volumizing Filler

Radiesse Volumizing FillerMansfield Cosmetic Surgery Center provides Radiesse® Volumizing Filler to clients living near Mansfield, Arlington, and Fort Worth, TX.  Radiesse is an in-office procedure that takes less about 30 minutes.

Radiesse Volumizing Filler is significantly different as compared with Juvederm, Voluma, Perlane, or Restylane.  Radiesse is unique due to the calcium-based microspheres and gel carrier that comprise the product.  Because of this distinguishing feature, Radiesse actually stimulates your own natural collagen to grow by using the calcium microspheres as scaffolding for new collagen support.  This process of natural collagen growth may continue for up to 12 months, which is why more cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists are choosing Radiesse to provide longer lasting results.

Radiesse is used to treat the nasolabial folds, marionette lines, perioral lip lines, and oral commisure lines.  Radiesse is also used to treat the midface with injections along the cheek bones.  Unfortunately, at this time, Radiesse is not approved or indicated to restore volume to the lips.

RadiesseFAQ

Dr. Michael Thornton personally performs all Radiesse injections.

“Although well qualified, I choose not to use mid level nurse practitioners or physician assistants to perform your Radiesse injections. This makes a difference and because of this individualized, surgeon-level attention, I minimize irreversible complications and provide you with my best results. In addition, I use micro blunt tipped cannulas thereby minimizing bruising and discomfort.”Dr. Thornton

Radiesse Volumizing Filler results are immediate and generally last up to 12 months.  At your request, a “dental block” anesthesia may be used to minimize discomfort. Many clients confuse Juvederm with Radiesse, but in fact, the two products work entirely different. However, many clients have been very pleased after receiving treatments with both products simultaneously, where Radiesse is injected into facial wrinkles and Juvederm is specifically reserved for the lips.
